This bright red 4.2-litre Coupe has had six owners from new. Its previous owner kept it for 34 years, the car passing into the vendor's hands as a restoration project in 2007. He has now realised that he will never get around to sorting it out and has decided to pass it on.

It runs and drives, but will need a thorough recommissioning before use once more. The black leather upholstery looks good, it rides on desirable Kent alloy wheels and the vendor has managed to acquire a new pair of front wings and a sill which are available to the buyer by separate negotiation.

This well worthwhile project shows 76,000 miles on the clock and looks an ideal way to occupy those winter evenings in the garage.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
