Ebay item 3/4/11 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $2,610.09 reserve not met, 4 bids 5 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This is a completely rust free 1974 Jaguar XJ in a very desirable color combination. The car has been in California since new and has just over 91,000 original miles. Like a lot of older Jaguars this one has been converted to a 350 Chevy engine. The conversion was done right and the car has a similar feel to it's original drive train, and is just as quiet. She accelerates positively and has good power. The transmission shifts right on time through all the gears. The brakes, steering and suspension are in good operating condition. The car handles the road superbly and runs extremely well. The mechanical, electrical and climate control systems operated fine when tested. The a/c compressor is hooked up however the air conditioning does not blow cold air. All of the windows work, as do all of the gages which show normal readings. Cosmetically the Jaguar is very attractive. The paint finish shines nicely. There are of course minimal imperfections (nicks, dings, chips, etc). The body, chassis and frame are 100% rust free. The car comes with both of it's original "blue and yellow" license plates. The interior is all original and has a gorgeous patina that could not be duplicated for any amount of money. The leather is still soft and very comfortable with significant padding remaining. The dash has no cracks, and the headliner and carpeting have been well preserved. All of the chrome is in great shape. This is a car that has been well maintained and can be enjoyed now.
