On ebay 5-6-2011:
UP FOR AUCTION IS MY 1974 JAGUAR XJ12 THAT HAS A BUICK V6 ENGINE AND AUTO TRANNY. VEHICLE HAS BODY RUST AS CAN BE SEEN IN THE PICTURES. FLOORBOARDS ARE INTACT. THE FRONT PASSENGER FLOOR PAN HAS BEEN REPLACED. TRUNK IS SOLID. NOTE THE RUST IN THE PICTURES AROUND THE FRONT AND REAR WHEEL WELLS. ENGINE RUNS GREAT AND DRIVES NICELY. HAS ORIGINAL AM/FM RADIO THAT WORKS. BRAKE LIGHTS, WIPERS AND TURN SIGNALS DON'T WORK. RATS GOT INTO SOME OF THE WIRING. SHOULD BE AN EASY FIX, BUT I'M NOT INTO FOLLOWING THE WIRING DOWN TO FIND THE PROBLEM. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT PROJECT CAR OR USE FOR PARTS. SOME WEAR ON THE SEATS. CHECK PICTURES AND ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. THIS IS SOLD AS IS AND IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER TO TRANSPORT THE CAR. GOOD RUBBER ON THE TIRES AND ALL THE HUBCAPS ARE THERE. PICTURES SHOW TWO DOOR PANELS OFF, BUT THEY ARE IN THE TRUNK AS WELL AS SOME OTHER PARTS. I HAVE A VERY LOW RESERVE PRICE. I NEED TO SELL SO I CAN MAKE ROOM FOR A PORSCHE I JUST PURCHASED. THANKS AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
