Ebay item 11/16/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1973-Jaguar-XJ6-Series-1-Fully-restored-Resto-Mod-Classi ...
Opening bid $20,000 reserve not met, no bids yet 9 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1973 Jaguar XJ6 - One Of A Kind. Offered is a fully restored and modified '73 Jag XJ6. This is a one of a kind, magnificant fully restored and modified auto in outstanding condition. Concours in every aspect. The following description lists the new/NOS parts used in the restoration process, many hard to find parts brought over from England. Restoration is from front to rear bumper. Definitely a head-turner and attention getter, will stand out in any crowd. Can cruise the main blvd or highway reliably. Do not ask about gas mileage - never checked it but its not 'green.'

This is a result of a 3 year restoration process with over 100K investment. The car has less than 300 miles since completion. If you are looking for a car to go pick up the bread and milk - this isn't the car you want.

The GM HO350 cu in engine (415 hp) w/auto trans will do 0 - 60 in under 6 seconds. While the sound of the exhaust is not loud, there is no doubt there is a beast under the hood. Stepping down on the accelerator will spin the tires all the way through shifting into 4th gear. If you can't control the urge to accelerate quickly, plan on new rear tires every half a dozen or so starts. Stored in a climate controlled building.

Handling is legendary Jaguar. With ALL NEW suspension the car has a menacing low stance. Cornering is sure and the car sticks to the road. Upgraded 4 wheel disc brakes provides straight, safe and efficient stopping power.

This can can be retrofited w/right hand drive if desired.

This is a show quality vehicle. Nothing else needs to be done. It is ready if you are. There are no Series 1 Jaguars in this condition. Anywhere.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
