This 1987 Jaguar XJ6 is a Series III sedan powered by a 4.2L straight-six mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The selling dealer recently acquired the car from a neighboring Oregon dealership, who reportedly took it in on trade from its original owner in July 2017. A subsequent service performed in May 2018 included transmission and brake fluid flushes as well as an oil change. This XJ6 shows 43k indicated miles and is offered at no reserve with original books, a clean Carfax report, two keys, and a clean Oregon title.
The exterior is finished in green, and no accidents or body repairs are noted on the included Carfax report.
A walk-around video is provided above. Dayton faux-knockoff wire wheels wear 15″ Yokohama tires and Jaguar-branded center caps all around. The seller reports a clunk from the front suspension while going over bumps.
The cabin is trimmed in tan leather with contrasting burl wood on the console, dash, and door panels. The Jaguar-branded tape deck remains in place and the 6-digit odometer shows 43k miles, approximately 100 of which have been added by the seller. The passenger-side rear window is described as inoperative.
The fuel-injected, twin-cam 4.2L straight-six shifts through a BorgWarner 3-speed automatic transmission. A service in May 2018 included flushes of the transmission and brake fluid, fresh engine oil, and new filters. The seller reports leaks from the water pump and exhaust.
