Car returns to ebay 3/2/18 www.ebay.com/itm/1972-Jaguar-XJ6-350-Conversion/263526872793
Car has a buy it now price of $12,900 for 20 days, seller aaronr38, car now said to be in Woodland Hills, California, 92k miles. Sold at above auction for $3,300.
Sellers description:
1972 Jaguar XJ6 With 350 Cu In Motor conversion and 700 R transmission, Finished In dark Burgundy metallic the paint is very nice with excellent shine as seen in the photos, there is a blem to the rear door that I have shown a close up of, This might be able to be color sanded down Have not given the body shop a chance to do this. The car is very straight with no accidents, this car was in a large Car collection and due to passing of the owner is being sold. No rust, All stainless and chrome in very nice shape as well as all glass, and rubber weather-stripping, It was stored in a climate controlled environment with 65 other cars.
There are 92000 Miles on the car and aprox 18,000 On the conversion, the conversion was not completed in some one's home Garage, it was professionally installed by Jon's cars In Dallas Texas, He also did the transmission conversion from a 400 to 700R, I have a stack of receipts that go with the car as well as all factory books from 1972. The car has had upgrades to the cooling system, it runs excellent, is reliable and has tons of power, a great Highway car with that over drive transmission. No visible leaks, no smoking out of the exhaust, 1 turn of the key start.
Interior is stock and very tidy, no rips, tears, soil marks or strange smells, power items are working correct, wood accents are nice and dash is not destroyed. Jack and spare are present in the finished trunk area.
