This 1987 Jaguar XJ6 is finished in Dorchester Grey over Savile Grey leather and powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power sunroof and antenna, 15″ Kent vented alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows, and a cassette stereo. Work in preparation for the sale involved replacing the fuel tank sender assembly and three window switches. Purchased by the seller in 2022, this Series III XJ6 is offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, spare parts, two sets of keys, a Carfax report, and a Virginia title in the seller’s name.

The Pininfarina-styled bodywork is finished in Dorchester Grey (LDP) and features a Leaper hood ornament, a power sunroof and antenna, power-adjustable side mirrors, bright trim, and dual exhaust outlets.

The 15″ Kent vented alloy wheels are mounted with 215/65 Falken Ziex ZE912 tires. Braking is handled by ventilated front and solid inboard rear discs, and the brake booster was replaced in October 2020. The front wheel bearings were repacked in preparation for the sale.

The front bucket seats are trimmed in Savile Grey leather (LDY) and wear lambswool covers, while burl wood accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior appointments include a cassette stereo, a trip computer, automatic climate control, cruise control, and power windows and locks. Three window switches were replaced in December 2025.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure, voltage, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 115k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership. The seller says that the total mileage is unknown.

The 4.2-liter inline-six was factory rated at 205 horsepower and 231 lb-ft of torque. A fuel return line was replaced in October 2020, the air injection pump was changed in February 2021, and the battery was replaced in 2024. The fuel tank sender assembly was replaced in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a BorgWarner three-speed automatic transmission, the fluid for which was changed in February 2021.
