Sellers description:
I purchased the vehicle in 1997 with 60K miles on it. The original owners log book stated the dealership installed a new speedo at 60K+ miles. The vehicle now has 66K on the odometer. My good guess would be the entire driveline has near 126K + miles on it.
I sent the car to a dear friend in Canada who only does restoration work on Jags, Healy's and Mini's in 1999. It stayed in his shop and got new suspension components, Brakes were rebuilt including new lines, new shocks, U joints ,some exhaust work, Air conditioner was changed to the new gas and oil, new windshield, new headliner, new wipers, battery, fuel tank senders and switch, antenna, various other repairs and replacement of components to make a good solid driver. All fluids were replaced as well.
The entire body is now rust free inside and out with numerous repair panels installed right from Jag. The new paint is deep black with a silver painted pin stripe and a new hood leaper. Custom fit Jaguar car cover included.
Four new Michelins and factory new take off wheels, and I have the original set.
The automobile came back to me in 2004, it has been stored indoors heated on a four post lift since. There are only 6,000+ miles on it since I purchased the automobile.
I have receipts for far more than this automobile is actually worth.
The engine, trans and axle are all original mileage.
The interior is all original wood and leather as well as carpet and does show some age.
