Ebay item 7/28/12http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1984-Jaguar-XJ6-Base-Sedan-4-Door-4-2L-/221080543382
Current bid $1,000, no reserve, 8 bids 3 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This car was originally from Florida and although it has been in New York for quite a few years it has seldom been driven in poor weather. This low mileage car starts and shifts well. This is a perfect car to restore in stages as it can be enjoyed now and as work progresses. With a bit of effort this car could be driven as a nice cruiser now (I have taken a few short jaunts with no problems or puddles). When the car was last painted the shop apparently felt it would look great with the leaper removed and beltline molding painted body color (really ?!). The leaper is included as are the original manuals and even an official Jaguar cassette player cleaning tape. Jagaurs really are so fun to drive that I would encurage anyone to pick one up - If they get a chance!

Highlights:
Starts, runs, and drives nicely
All functions of trip computer work
Electricals work with exceptions below
Tires have 75% tread life left
A set of original manuals and extras
Original factory jack

Known Issues:
Drivers power mirror does not seem to be adjusting horizontally
Passenger side rear window not working
Radio does not seem to do anything but power on
Typical XJ6 rust areas and blistering/chipped paint
Brightwork needs polishing
Woodwork needs refinishing
Upholstery is showing its age
A/C is not operating
Dash directional idicators not working (exterior lamps are working)
Voltmeter is not be working (alternator is charging though)

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
