This Jaguar XJ6 is a refined and desirable classic British luxury saloon, combining elegant styling with Jaguar’s renowned straight-six performance and grand touring comfort.
It is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.2-litre inline-six engine driving the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
This XJ6 was first registered in the UK in October 1970, before later being exported to Cyprus and subsequently returning to the UK, where it was re-registered with the DVLA in August 2022.
It has reportedly benefitted from a full restoration, with supporting paperwork accompanying the car.
The odometer indicates 45,198 miles, though this is not warranted.
Equipment and features
This XJ6 is finished in an appealing shade of blue, over a cinnamon leather-trimmed interior, featuring a contrasting black dashboard and floor mats, and wood veneer, textured aluminium, and chrome trim.
It now rides on a set of 15-inch chrome cross-spoke wire wheels fitted with Falken Ziex tyres.
Equipment includes a two-spoke steering wheel, Smiths gauges, an Excel Palm Air air conditioning system, an analogue clock, dashboard rocker switches, and electric windows.
This example has been enhanced with a fuel injection upgrade, intended to improve drivability and reliability while retaining the car’s period character.
It will be supplied with two keys, service history paperwork, refurbishment invoices, a set of five chromed steel wheels with tyres, a selection of spare parts, and accompanying restoration documentation.
Condition
The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 28 May 2025 at an indicated 44,966 miles, which resulted in a second-time pass with advisories for the front brake pads wearing thin and the offside rear brake pipe being corroded, covered in grease or other material.
