Car was on ebay 9/15
www.ebay.com/itm/121745127211
Bidding ended at $1,300 after 10 bids. Seller adrianb69 63k miles

Sellers description:
I bought this vehicle on ebay several years ago and shipped to Massachusetts from California with good intentions. I last had car on road in 2012 when got new tires, exhaust, brakes were redone and had mechanical work to get going. Car ran but was only used a few times for local trips and has sat for past couple of years other than being started occasionally. Does still start with a jump and does run around neighborhood but is rough; might just be old gas but assume more. There is a slow brake fluid leak but does stop and transmission shifts through gears. Paint is very faded but there is only minor surface rust on body and chrome is mostly good. No significant dents but I'm sure there's a couple of imperfections in body. Tires are still new with just a few 100 miles on them. Exhaust is still new. Needs work to get back on road. Have a pile of past history from California suggesting that mileage is genuine but there is a gap in the history where the car was said to be stored inside. I'm moving and simply don't have the time that this car deserves. Will be a great restoration project. There is surface rust on floors but no rust through. I have original mats that are out of car. Front seats both have tears, headliner needs redoing, back seat is in good condition. Glass is good. When last on road all lights worked (did pass Mass inspection) but tach worked only intermittently and could not get switch to change between twin fuel tanks. Clock runs! Will provide clear title and pile of history on full payment.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
