Car offered at:
www.autoarcheologist.com/inventory.html

Sellers description:
1977 Jaguar XJ6C. This is a rare coupe produced in the same elegant style of the XJ6 saloons but with just a bit more sporting performance. Less than 4000 of these coupes were produced.

This example has been sitting in a storage unit in southern CT for the last 25+ years. It was purchased from the original owner after it had been in a minor fender bender. All the front end sheet metal has been replaced, (two wings and bonnet) however, it is missing the bumper, which can easily be sourced from a standard XJ6 sedan. The car is in very good nick and is looking for the right person to find her and put the time into her to get her back on the road. The motor (which is currently not in the car) and the car have 63K original miles. The engine is the original engine. Being out of the car it was difficult to assess whether it will turn.

This car has a beautiful leather interior, the headliner is still in great shape, factory A/C, power brakes, power windows. The body is super solid in Rhodium Silver Metallic with just one small bubble of rust near right side taillight (see photo). Several extra parts come with the car such as 4 rims, an extra grill and some trim.

I'll say it again, this car just needs the right person to step in and put the time and some money into her so this Big Sporting Cat can prowl the back roads again!

Asking price is $4000.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
