Sellers description:
1977 Jaguar XJ6 coupe. VIN UH2J53382BW date of manufacture 05/77. Only 3,899 LHD coupes were built from and this one has just 73,277 original miles. We had a friend purchase this car many years ago and I believe he was second owner. He loved it and enjoyed it immensely. We are now selling the car for his widow as she is uncomfortable driving his pride and joy. This car is in excellent condition with a super quiet engine, excellent oil pressure and smooth driving. These coupes were built on the short wheelbase Series I floor pans from 1975 -1977. This makes them feel more nimble and handle better than any long wheelbase cars. The pillarless design gives uncompromised visibility and makes the car a joy to drive and ride in. This car has service records to document the low miles and has an excellent body. The floor pan is original and excellent. The leather interior is nice and original. Wood dash in good condition for its age. This car was always in Oregon and the car has been always garaged, but as typical with this vintage, the high gloss silver paint has faded. The car is major damage and rust free. The car has had regular service and repairs, has updated front ball joints and major tuning. The A/C has small leak so is not charged at this time but all heater doors and servos work. We have just serviced it and will make a very good drivable and affordable collector car.
