This 1975 Jaguar coupe started life as an XJ6C model and was fitted with a 350ci V8 and a three-speed TH350 automatic transmission under previous ownership. Additional modifications consist of an aftermarket camshaft, an Edelbrock carburetor, Moroso exhaust headers, BMW wheels, and more. The car is said to have been sold new in South Carolina and was recently acquired by the selling dealer, reportedly from the son of its second owner. Subsequent work included a carburetor rebuild and oil change as well as replacement of the electric fuel pump, spark plugs, brakes, alternator, and starter. This XJ6 is offered at no reserve in New Jersey with partial service records and a clean Pennsylvania title.
This pillarless coupe was repainted in white 10 years ago according to the selling dealer, reportedly to alleviate fading of the previous finish. The condition of the body is shown up close, including areas of rust around the windshield frames.
Exterior features include bright wheel arch trim, dual exhaust outlets, quadruple headlamps, a “leaper” hood ornament, and aftermarket fog lights. BMW Style 82 wheels wear Sumic tires, and the brakes were reportedly serviced in anticipation of the sale.
Interior features consist of blue cloth upholstery with white piping, wood dash panels, an analog clock, a lockable glovebox, and an aftermarket CD player that is missing its removable faceplate. The power windows and fuel gauge are said to function intermittently.
A two-spoke steering wheel frames replacement ivory VDO instruments including a tachometer and a five-digit odometer showing 19k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added by the selling dealer. Total chassis mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 is said to be a crate engine installed under previous ownership and reportedly features an aftermarket camshaft. Induction is through an Edelbrock carburetor, Moroso exhaust headers, and more. Service following the selling dealer’s acquisition consisted of rebuilding the carburetor as well as replacing the fuel pump, spark plugs, alternator, starter, and engine oil.
A three-speed TH350 automatic transmission routes power to the rear wheels. A single fuel tank replaces the standard dual setup, and a Holley electric fuel pump was also fitted in preparation for the sale.

350 Chevy engine converted. It looks like the conversion was done over 20 years ago.

Purchased in NJ, 3/13/2020. Already had poorly installed Chevrolet 350ci engine. Many tacky changes (e.g. hot rod gauges, plastic toggle switches, BMW wheels). Im going through from front to back but will keep the 350 in it as a resto-mod. But it will look stock from outside.
