Ebay item 2/24/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1976-XJ6C-Limited-production-Jaguar-now-lower-reserve-/3 ...
Current bid $1,025 reserve not met, 9 bids 1 day left in auction.

Sellers description:
When I purchased the car in 1997 it had 99000 miles and I became the third owner. The car was purchased in Eugene, Oregon and I drove it to Bremerton, Washington and continued driving the car after the mechincial restoration restoration was completed and I opened a business and didn't have the money available to continue restoring. The car was running well and has the original motor and has always been worked on by a licensed mechanic. I have put in new floor panels, new power steering rack and new bushings and new transmission, the breaks are good. The car hasn't been driven since 2000 so you would need to clean the fuel lines, clean or replace the carburettor and new gas. The body is in very good shape with only one small crease in the underside of the rear quarter panel on the passenger side and very few small rust spots that have been taken care of- the duck tape on the passenger door is where there was a quarter size rust spot where the mirror belongs. The rear seat is original black leather with a few small cracks in the leather, the two front seats were replaced with new Jaguar black leather bucket seats just befor I purchased the car and in great shape. I have receipts for the work as well as the "Drivers Handbook" that I will turn over to the buyer. Life has a way of changing and I am not going to be able to finish with the restoration. The Jaguar has always been garaged and I had it trailered to Kansas where it has always been in inclosed locked storage. This is a restoreable classic and it won't tak much more to have a beautiful car.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
