Ebay item 8/13/14
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-Other-Coupe-Spectacular-1976-Jaguar-XJ12C-RARE-Coupe-/11 ...
Current bid $15,650 reserve not met, 9 bids 5 days left in auction. Buy it now price $26,000. 44k miles.

Sellers description:
Spectacular 1976 Jaguar XJ12C RARE!!! Coupe!!

This car is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Turns heads whenever it is driven. Even Old Ladies give you a thumbs up!!!

This car has EXTENSIVE Service Records

This car was a very low mileage rust free example that the Naval Officer who owned it wanted it perfect. He had the car stripped to bare metal and Rust inhibitor epoxy based primer. Then after making sure that the body was laser straight had the car sprayed with base coat clear coat paint at a cost of over $10,000. Vinyl top was replaced with correct new top. Any trim that was not to his standards was replaced. Beautiful Chrome factory wheels with new Yokohama Tires.
Interior also was completely refinished, New Beautiful Creme Beige Leather Seats, Door Panels, Carpets, and Headliner at a cost of over $5,000.

Mechanically anything that this car needed (and probably not needed) was done. Everything functions as it did from the factory. Car runs and drives like new. It is a fabulous car to drive. Rides and handles like a new XK8. Starts right up, Idles smoothly, Accelerates nicely, Transmission shifts smoothly.

Trunk is as when new. Has full Toolkit and Jack and owners and repair manuals.

You will not be disappointed, easily win an award at any show.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
