Ebay item 9/28/19
www.ebay.com/itm/1975-Jaguar-XJ12/303300741972
Opening bid US $1,000, no reserve, no bids 6 days left in auction, seller harryetype, 100k miles.
Seller's description:
Jaguar XJ12C for restoration or parts.
The body panels are in good order although the firewall has be cut out and a replacement has been temporally fitted. The front floor sections are rusty but the rest of the car seems solid and rust free.
The dash and dash components are missing, the cheapest solution to that would be to obtain a cheap 4dr saloon for the missing parts.
The car is currently fitted with a V8 however we can supply a v12 either 5.3 or 6.0 with transmission for an extra charge.
The value in the unique parts such as doors, rear wings and chromes is considerable.
At Sports Car Classics, we specialise in the service & restoration of classics Jaguars, therefore any work desired by the new owner, we would gladly undertake at separate cost.

Seller's description:
JAGUAR XJ12C, 1975 LHD
Offered for sale is this Jaguar Series 2 XJ12C 1975. Originally finished in British Racing Green with Beige leather upholstery. Car does require a total restoration.
The body work is straight with excellent panel gaps and with exception of the floors will need some attention. Car comes with a new drivers side floor in a box. The outer panels and doors are in excellent condition and all the rare Coupe chrome pieces are present. Boot floor is also in great shape. Im was told the car had a small engine fire which damaged the bulkhead/firewall so a replacement has been fitted but requires finishing. most of the dash parts have been replace with a later XJ S3, however Im sure some parts will still need to be sourced. However a regular sedan can provide all of these parts. Visually the car shows surface rust on the exterior but this is only light. The interior is very poor and will require a full re trim. The panel alignment is excellent.
If you are looking for one of these rare Jaguar models, this presents an ideal opportunity to acquire a car at entry level money. Cars of this era are becoming very difficult to find and therefore present a unique opportunity to acquire a piece of Jaguar history.
