Sellers description:
I am pleased to offer this very rare 1975 Jaguar XJ6C Coupe. This Jaguar has a documented 57000 miles, is very original and has always been in a salt free environment and is a one owner lady driven vehicle until her death in the early 2000's. This Jaguar has been stored in Alabama since her death and came to me through an estate sale. This Jaguar starts and runs well but has only been driven very short runs so a full comprehensive service would be in order. The body is to die for as it is virtually rust free. There is some minor paint work on the rocker panel to repair a dent and some surface rust on areas like the underside of the front pan behind the lower grill and also the low side of the rocker panels. One can see this in the pictures. Repeat there is no rust out or rust holes, not even suspicious bubbles. The paint is aged and has the usual scratches. The original vinyl top is still excellent with no bubbles beneath it. All of the bright work is nice with no pitting. The trunk plinth does have some minor pitting and the rear view mirror chrome is dull but that is it. The interior is all original and has a nice patina. The dash veneer is badly cracked but new wood is readily available at a very reasonable cost. This Jaguar is very complete including under the hood. It will come with its original battery encasement and tool kit along with the owner's manual and complete travel log. If you are looking for the right coupe to restore this is the perfect one.
