This 1975 Jaguar XJ is a restomod with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle is drivable.

In September 2015 I had a big fight with my insurance over having this car’s rear quarter replaced, which got damaged in an accident I had in SC. I prevailed and had the car professionally repaired, replaced my damaged panel with an original full right rear quarter panel from another coupe! All work was exceptionally done by Chris Hughes who is well known for classics (Chris’s Auto Body and Paint, York SC) which took till July 2017 to complete. Chris also replaced all the right rear suspension components also procured from the sourced Coupe we obtained the panel. The one 7jx15 Fittipaldi rim though did get damaged, we were unable to find a replacement, it currently balances …so I one could opt to change out its rims to a more modern style & tires or get this one professionally back to spec

Exceptionally Rare 1975 XJ 2-Door Pillar-less Coupe LHD #187 - Restomod Build with 5.0L FORD matched to a 4 speed Automatic Overdrive Transmission (AOD) and 3.31 ratio differential. Personally owned since 1994, loved & used as a driver off and on many years, been an ongoing project and in storage the last 4 years. XJ Coupe Restomods are also starting to gain in recognition with one LS build on BringATrailer selling twice: in 2017 for $103,000 and resold in 2023 for $165,000.

It’s unfortunately time for me to handoff my Coupe to the next passionate owner/builder to personalize, who can take to the next level and truly enjoy. Offered for sale in a low reserve auction format, so good luck!
