Ebay item 2/4/21
www.ebay.com/itm/1972-Jaguar-XJ6/373449282574
Car has a buy it now price of $12,900 for 29 days, seller anclem40, 44k miles.

Seller's description:
Series 1 (chrome bumper) XJ with the powertrain from a 1969 Corvette (Chevy 350 and Turbo 350 transmission)

Gorgeous silverstone metallic over factory Dark Blue interior! New leather seats and interior door panels imported from the UK

Runs and drives excellent. In fact, you can drive it anywhere without worry, as you have the reliability, serviceability, and parts availability of a 350 small block.

Even parts like the cooling system, power steering, and air conditioning are Chevrolet. No expensive and short-lived Jaguar parts

Yes, this car has Chevrolet A/C, which works with the factory Jaguar climate control system
Low on refrigerant, possibly has a leak

Lots have been done on this car in the last few months:
Brake fluid flush, replaced master cylinder reservoir and hoses
Fuel tank drain/refill with new drain plug gaskets
New tires
New battery
Coolant drain/refill
Power steering drain/refill
Transmission fluid drain/refill. Have receipts for a rebuild from previous owner
Oil change
New valve cover gaskets
Tuneup w/ spark plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, distributor
Replacement KYB comfort shocks by previous owner

Interior looks fantastic. The car has had all of its leather upholstery replaced (seats, door panels, center console, as well as the dash pad). Rare power windows option.

The transmission has been rebuilt under the previous ownership. I believe the engine was rebuilt as well, but I have no receipts for the engine overhaul.

Front floors have been POR-15 coated and insulated with Dynamat

This car has been entered in local rallies - I'd drive it anywhere

Issues:
Fuel gauge goes to 3/4 tank when car is started, but then it just stays there. I believe the sending unit float in the tank is stuck (this car has had both fuel tanks T'eed together as one tank)
Speedometer reads the speed, but its bouncy
A/C barely blows cold
2 small scratches on trunk lid
No rust except for a few pin-sized bubbles at the bottom edge of the rear window. The rest of the car is completely dry/rust free

Paint looks amazing and shines beautifully, maybe a few imperfections if you look closely, but that's it Body is laser straight!

75 psi oil pressure, runs at 190 deg
