Car returns to ebay 7/7/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1985-Jaguar-Sovereign-w-original-45K-/300574624614
Current bid $2,034.09 reserve not met, 7 bids 5 days left in auction. Car now said to be in New York City.

Sellers description:
1985 JAGUAR XJ6 Sovereign Sedan is in Bronze with the contrasting Doeskin leather interior. The Sovereign was not available in the U.S and this car was imported years ago to california where it was always garaged. The Sovereign features the the more desirable pepperpot wheels, 7"outer head lights,fog-lights in the rear bumper, less emissions so more power, wood on the doors and around gear-shift,different trimmed seats w rear headrests and its beautiful. This is one of very few remaining examples in un-molested condition, and is in great condition for its age.The car is all original and and has always been garaged so there is NO rust anywhere on the car, and that includes none around the wheel wells, floors, doors ,fenders between the tail pipes or underneath the car.

The car has only had one respray in its original color and it is in beautiful condition with a brilliant shine to the paint and the chrome but the hood and trunk have hairline cracking and literally only has one very small door ding that can easily be removed. The original interior has a great aroma of an old jag and is in a beautiful doeskin leather as well as the carpets are in great condition with hardly any wear to the seats ,and the original headliner is beginning to sag a bit .The Engine compartment is also clean with many many new parts ,including .The trunk is also very clean with its original carpet and trim and still has the original pepperpot spare and tools, there is also NO rust on the trunk floor.

Mechanically the car is excellent running and driving condition with 74k kilometers which equals 45k miles and you can look at the car and tell . It steers very tight and stops on a dime and there are no warning lights on and it has no leaks and doesnt smoke and I have just had the car serviced. Everything works as it should including very hot heat but haven't used the a/c but it easily be recharged and all gauges, windows, radio work as they should. The only upgrade to the car is the cassette radio with and an alarm that I haven't used.

I am the only the 3rd owner of the car and it was purchased for my collection it is beautiful and although it is 26 y.o it is not perfect but it will not take much to get there. The car is imported so the vin is not recognized Vin number is SAJJCALP4CC431796. I lost garage space so will have to sell a couple of toys. It will also come with the original keys.

Previous auction ended at $3,051.01 after 13 bids.
