Car to be at auction 5/15
www.coys.co.uk/auction.php

Auction description:
Lot 254 - 1984 Jaguar XJ6 SIII - 8,000 miles from new
Estimate: £15,000 - £20,000
Registration Number: B466 LPL
Chassis Number: SAJJAALP7CC416706

Produced in 1984, this exceptional two owner car has covered only 8,000 miles from new and is extremely rare, being fitted with a 5 speed manual. Finished in perhaps the finest colour for the XJ; Sage metallic with a complementing Doeskin interior, both described as being in excellent order.

It is supplied with a full history and invoices and is complete with three sets of keys, all original tools and books as well as a V5 document and MoT certificate valid until October. Described as being the most original XJ6 you will find, it is in excellent condition throughout and truly a "time warp" car.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
