Ebay item 3/2/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XJ6-Base-Sedan-4-Door-1985-jaguar-xj-6-mint-39-k-mile-iv ...
Car has a buy it now price of $9,500 for 20 days. 39k miles.

Sellers description:
Very rare find, documented history and mileage, classy ivory and burgundy, lattice wheels with new tires, ice cold AC, even the radio and antenna work. Beautiful chrome, all around one of the best Series III cars I have ever seen. These cars are usually rust buckets and neglected. The leather is all original, soft, the door panels are mint, the wood is all original with very minor defects, not all cracked like all the cars our there. I replaced the original steering wheel with a $500 Nardi, the largest available to match the size of the OEM. I will not represent this car as perfect, as it is a 30 year old vintage car, but it is probably the best example of these cars you will ever see. Starts and runs great, shifts smoothly, great handling and suspension. Belonged to a family in South Florida since new, garaged kept and extensive service history is included along with the original books. This is a true documented 39875 mile car that anyone will be proud to own. The car was repainted years ago, as the original paint in these cars was lacquer and always show the age. Still shows very well, shinny. Painter pin stripe is gray and burgundy to match the interior. Sunroof mechanism operates but was disconnected at the switch, as the sunroof lid was slightly damaged. I do not have the details of what happened there, but I was planning to have it repaired but never got to it. All power windows operate as new, car has light new window tint to protect the interior. This car did not come with the optional fog lamps. I bought a set of Carello Italian lamps, which are correct for the era, and installed them. However, they were not hooked up, did it just for the looks. All the original lights work, including the trunk and doors. If you know these cars, you know how difficult it is to find one like this. Car is almost a showroom car, but it is not a $100K new Jaguar, it is a vintage car and do not expect 100% perfection. It is offered as-is, no warranty of any kind. You are welcome to see the car prior to bidding. It is registered and titled to my name and can be drive tested around my area.

Opening bid US $1,000.00
Reserve not met no bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Reno, Nevada. Seller sierraclassics, 40k miles.

Sellers description:
Very nice 1985 Jaguar XJ6 Series III Sedan. This Jaguar has just 40K original miles. It is powered by a very reliable 4.2L Inline 6 and a 3-speed automatic. The car has a nice quality repaint and very clean original leather interior. This super solid Jag runs and drives very well. Everything works with the exception of the sunroof (maybe a switch) and cruise control.
