Sellers description:
Elegant Black on Tan 1986 Jaguar XJ6. A California car dutifully maintained by the same owner for the last decade with a clean CA title and currently registered.

The exterior black paint is in good condition, though there is some slight fading to the paint in places, it is original. All the glass is clear without scratches or cracking. The chrome trim is complete and in good condition. The front bumper chrome does have some rust speckling to it, and there is some rust around the front and rear window seals, very typical of a Jaguar that's lived in a beach city. The tires have plenty of tread left on them and the alloy wheels are donned with Jaguar emblems.

The interior is in decent condition considering that tan isn't the most forgiving of interior colors. The seats show minor signs of wear throughout, but there are no poke-through holes or tears. The dash is in excellent condition, complete, and functional with all gauges working. The tan door panels are in good condition and the wood trim on the door panels' is in place, but the veneer is peeling away in places. The interior electrical is in great shape and is currently all working very well, from the interior lights to the roll up windows. The tan carpeting is complete with many different shades of stain, and could use a good steam cleaning. The headliner is in place and not saggy. The trunk is very spacious and complete with jack stand and spare tire. The sale of this Jaguar also comes with a XJ6 owner's manual.

From the turn of the key this XJ6 starts up with a healthy purr. The suspension is sound without any knocking or bonking to be heard. The brakes are good, with a firm pedal and no pulling in either direction upon braking. The indicators self cancel and all lighting fixtures are working well. The horn, windshield wipers, and sunroof work too.
