Ebay item 6/12/11 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1985-Jaguar-XJ6-British-racing-green-w-tan-leather-/2905 ...
Current bid $1,625 no reserve, 18 bids 10 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1985 Jaguar XJ6. All original, British Racing Green w/tan leather interior (the best combo!) This is a CA/FL car, I believe I am the 2nd owner, I bought from CA dealer 2 years ago for $5750, my loss will be your gain. Motor is strong and runs good. Needs a valve lash adjustment, slight clicking after warm up. Not a major repair, around $250. Paint is oxidized and has spidering. Has 3 main rust spots, and has small dent on passenger door. Car looks great from 10 feet away, but up close can see it will need paint job if you want it pristine. The dash and all wood trim is perfect. The right rear seat leather is damaged and would need repair. The right front passenger seat has two small tears. The rest of the interior is great. Chrome is great. Brakes are good (60%), tires are just ok, will need new ones soon. Could use balancing/alignment. Has new plugs, rotor, wires, oil, rear seal. All electric works perfect, radio and AC fine. The only electrical issue is needs new driver window switch, works off and on. The other 3 were replaced. Sunroof works perfect. This was my daily driver. I have never had the time to make it mint (paint, valve, etc) I also will be listing my other Jaguar, a 1998 XK8. I now have a brand new company car, wife says the Jags have to go! Car is pretty much how I bought from dealer, my intentions were good, just never could get around to putting any work into it! This is no reserve auction and will go to the highest bidder!

Sellers description:
An elegant vehicle which was running until a few days ago. I must get something a little more fuel efficient. She only has a little over 88,000. original miles and was previously in South Florida /California for the majority of her life. She only has two rust spots at the base of window wells, the interior is in excellent shape save for a rip in leather on passenger seat and a larger tear in rear passenger side. Wood looks good, non-smoking driver. She must be towed, but will crank. I have a clean NC title on hand will give you that and the vehicle for cash and I can provide a sales receipt. There are a couple of quarter size dings on passenger side. The paint will need to be done eventually, though it isn't critical.
