Lot #198744

This 1985 Jaguar XJ6 was fitted with a 350ci small-block Chevy V8 before the seller’s 2024 acquisition, and the engine is equipped with an Edelbrock air cleaner, intake manifold, and valve covers. Power is routed through a three-speed automatic transmission, and further equipment includes 17″ Center Line wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a power sunroof, chrome exterior trim, and a dual exhaust system. The cabin is outfitted with air conditioning, wood veneer trim, a Pioneer CD stereo, Infinity speakers, power windows, and front bucket seats trimmed in gray vinyl upholstery. This modified Series III XJ6 is now offered with a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The Pininfarina-styled bodywork is finished in metallic red and is believed to have been repainted under prior ownership. Details include a Leaper hood ornament, a power sunroof, chrome wheel arch and window trim, and dual exhaust outlets. Exterior flaws are photographed in the gallery, and the driver’s side mirror is loose.

Center Line 17″ wheels are mounted with a mixed set of Summit and Ventus tires, and braking is handled by ventilated front and solid inboard rear discs.

The seating surfaces are trimmed in gray vinyl, while burl wood accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior equipment includes a Pioneer CD stereo, Infinity speakers, front bucket seats, air conditioning, and power windows and locks. The left-rear window motor was replaced in 2024.

The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure, voltage, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The factory speedometer and odometer are not functional, and a digital speedometer is mounted atop the dashboard. Total mileage is unknown. The horn operates using a button beneath the dashboard.

The 350ci V8 was installed under prior ownership, and it is equipped with “ram’s horn” exhaust manifolds and an Edelbrock air cleaner, valve covers, and intake manifold.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Corrosion is noted on underbody components.
