Ebay item 2/22/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1985-Jaguar-XJ6-/130488937135
Current bid $3,000 reserve not met 1 bid 4 days left in auction. Buy it now price $9,500.

Sellers description:
1985 Jaguar XJ6, clean in and out. Straight body, no dents and no rust! No cracks in the dash or in the wood. I am the second owner, always garaged. Serviced about nine months ago. Just passed California smog. This was a weekend driver for me. New addition to the vehicle family forces sell. I dont have the time for her anymore. It still runs strong, pulls hard for a 2 ton car. I've never had a problem on a cold morning start but it was always in the garage when I fired it up. I know that the a/c needs to be serviced, I never bothered with it cause I only took it out on fair weather days. This is my 3rd Jag from the series III and by far the best one I've had. Tires are excellent, probably about 90% tread left with Perelli. Replaced them about 10 months ago, along with an oil change. All the fluids were replaced and topped off as well. Brakes are good and strong with no vibration. Minimal oil leak can be seen in my garage, nothing out of the ordinary. No electrical problems! Everything works as it should. Lucas has been nice to me:) It went through a 14 point check with EZ lube, everything was okay. No funny sounds or querks. Windows roll down quickly with ease. No leaks from the sun roof. No problems with head liner. No cracks in the leather. Rear seat was never used from the first owner but he also never treated so it shows dryness from the gray coloring to the leather but it has no tears or cracks in it. I have original books and manuals that came with it new. Alpine tape deck works with out a hitch, speakers are not blown. Origanally I was going to pull the motor out and drop in an LS3 E-rod but had a change plans, the wife is expecting our 3rd child and we went ahead and bought another vehicle. This Jag has by far the best color combo for the series III ever offered.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
