Opening bid $1,000 reserve not met, no bids 9 days left in auction. 89k miles.

Sellers description:
This car turns more heads than any other I've owned. It feels like youre driving down the road on a very comfortable leather couch. It has been a fun car, but I need something smaller for my wife to drive. I bought the car a year and a half ago from a local guy who collects british cars. He brought the car to british car shows, where it won twice in it's category (I have a silver plate that it won that will come with the car).

The paint was deteriorating, so I had the car partially restored in August, 2012 by Vintage Restoration in Troutman, NC ($11,424). I have receipts and detailed descriptions of the work that was done. The interior is original and in great shape (the headliner was replaced). The paint job looks fabulous...probably a lot like it looked when it was new. The engine runs well and doesn't seem to have lost any of it's power, transmission smooth, suspension good. We drive this car 2 - 3 times a week on trips of 5 miles or less. I have receipts going back to when the car was new, including any work I have had done to it. I have always kept it in the garage; the collector I bought it from did the same.

Great opportunity to get one of these Series III classics!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
