This 1987 Jaguar XJ6 is finished in Solent Blue over Biscuit leather upholstery and powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a power-operated sunroof, a digital trip computer, automatic climate control, cruise control, and an AM/FM cassette stereo. The car has remained registered in California through the seller’s acquisition in February 2022. This XJ6 has 66k miles and is now offered at no reserve with a car cover, a tool kit, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in a Solent Blue (JFJ) and features gold pinstriping, a Leaper hood ornament, a power-operated sunroof, a retractable antenna, replacement headlamps, polished dual exhaust outlets, and chrome window surrounds, mirror caps, and trim. An aftermarket hood stay and European-style headlights are installed. Imperfections in the finish include a scratch on the trunk lid, a dent in the left-rear door, and paint chips.

Factory 15″ Kent alloy wheels feature gray accents and Jaguar center caps and are mounted with 215/70R Michelin Defender tires that show 2017 date codes. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at all four corners. The front-left center cap is cracked.

The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in Biscuit leather, while wood veneer accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include a digital trip computer, an AM/FM cassette stereo, automatic climate control, cruise control, and power windows. A replacement headliner is fitted, and remote door locks have been installed.

The replacement leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 66k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. The removed steering wheel will accompany the car.

The fuel-injected 4.2L inline-six was factory rated at 176 horsepower and 219 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale, and a battery maintainer is included in the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a BorgWarner three-speed automatic transmission. Service in August 2022 included changing the transmission fluid and replacing the filter and transmission pan gasket. The transmission pan bolts were re-torqued in February 2023.
