Lot #78249

This 1987 Jaguar XJ6 is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and it is finished in Crimson over Biscuit leather. Equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, air conditioning, cruise control, a power-operated sunroof, a digital trip computer, and power windows, locks, and mirrors. The car spent time in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Texas before it was recently acquired by the selling dealer. This XJ6 shows 25k miles and is now offered in Florida with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.

The car is finished in Crimson (CEV) with two-tone gold and orange pinstriping and features bright trim, a leaper hood ornament, a chrome grille, quad headlights with bezels, and a power antenna and sunroof. The selling dealer notes checking in the paint, and exterior blemishes.

Factory 15″ alloy wheels with black inserts and Jaguar center caps wear General Altimax RT43 tires. A full-size spare is located in the trunk. Braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs, and a brake system flush was performed in May 2022.

The interior features Biscuit leather upholstery on the seats and high-gloss wood veneer accents on the dash, doors, and console. Amenities include air conditioning, an adjustable steering column, a digital trip computer, a factory AM/FM cassette stereo, cruise control, and power windows and mirrors. The center console trim was repaired and the air conditioning system was recharged in preparation for the sale.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 25k miles.

The fuel-injected 4.2L inline-six was factory rated at 176 horsepower and 219 lb-ft of torque. The drive belts were replaced and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed BorgWarner automatic transmission. The transmission spool was replaced in May 2022.
