This 1983 Jaguar XJ6 was purchased by the current owner’s family in 1985, and has resided with the owner in Michigan since the mid-1980s. The car is powered by a 4.2-liter straight-six mated to a three-speed automatic transmission, and it is finished in Racing Green over a tan leather interior. Features include 15″ wire wheels, a sunroof, automatic climate control, a trip computer, woodgrain accents, and power windows and locks. The seller states that the car has not been driven on the street since the 1990s. The fuel system was reportedly serviced in 2019, and the seller notes that additional service may be required before extensive driving. This Series III XJ6 shows 58k miles and is now offered at no reserve on behalf of the current owner along with the removed Jaguar alloy wheels, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title in the name of the owner’s business.

Finished in Racing Green, the exterior features quad headlights, a sunroof, dual polished exhaust outlets, and a chrome grille, mirrors, and trim. The body shows blemishes and scratches as displayed in the photo gallery below.

The car rides on 15″ wire wheels with gold-finished spokes, chrome rims, and knock-off style centers along with Pirelli tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted discs at all four corners. The four removed 15″ Jaguar alloy wheels and three center caps will accompany the car.

The cabin features seats upholstered in tan leather with matching carpets and door panels, a black dash pad, and woodgrain accents. Equipment includes power windows and locks, matching floor mats, automatic climate control, a trip computer, and a cassette stereo. The seller notes that the air conditioning does not work.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 58k miles, approximately 30k of which were added by the owner.

The fuel-injected 4.2L inline-six sends power to the rear wheels through a Borg-Warner three-speed automatic transmission. A fuel system service said to have been completed approximately two years ago included replacement of the fuel cap seals, the changeover valve, and both fuel level senders. The seller states that an oil change was completed in July 2021.
