    Sellers description:
Great sporty Classic 1982 Jaguar XJ6 Sedan for sale now I've got a car to sell. It's an 82 Jaguar XJ6 Sedan with a little over 88k miles. The old woman that owned the car bought it new in 82, and evidently didn't drive much, and I'm sure she didn't drive hard, and in probably 31 or 32 years only put 88k miles on it. I was told by her son that she religiously had all maintenance performed and took very good care of the car. I drive it occasionally and it runs great. Everything works, the moonroof, the windows, the power locks, the stereo, the air (gets cold but the fan doesn't seem to blow it hard), both gas tanks, all of the gauges and lights, everything, as far as I can tell, works. Now it's not perfect, it shows some of the inevitable wear and tear and scratches of a car that is 32 years old, but overall it is remarkably clean. A friend at a dealership looked up the Carfax Report for me, and it has never been in an accident, and there are no issues with the title. The flaws are: On the back seat, on the seat, where the rows of stitches run front to back to give the ribbed effect in the leather, the leather is ripping along those rows of stitches in a few places. Of course that would have to be repaired to make the car pristine. And on the driver's side of the car, down low, there are 2 places that have either rubbed through or rusted through, it must be rust, although I don't see much evidence of rust, it seems very unlikely that it would have just rubbed through, although in at least one of the places, it looks like there is a piece of the frame right behind it. There is also a small piece of trim missing on the driver's side rear door. This is also shown in the pictures I've included in the ad.

As you can tell by my rudimentary description of the car, I am certainly not an expert on vintage classic cars. You will have to look through the pictures and make decisions for yourself, but I think it is a sweet little Jag, that is running great, has a new battery, pretty new tires with lots of miles left on them, a couple of what I would consider small flaws, and would make a great everyday driver, although I'm sure it's not real gas friendly. It probably isn't to bad on the mileage, although I have never tried to check my miles per gallon. I would drive it to work myself, but work involves my truck, and I'm 6' 4" and let's say 50 plus, and it is a little tight for me, and also a little low for me. Maybe even a easy restoration project. It really is a nice car.
