Ebay item 1/11/20

www.ebay.com/itm/1976-Jaguar-XJ-PILLARLESS-HARD-TOP/283739295632

Current bid: $5,100 reserve not met 3 bids 9 days left in auction, seller premierluxurycars, 57k miles.

Seller's description:

THIS ONE CAME FROM A COLLECTION IN MICHIGAN AND IS ORIGINAL UNRESTORED CONDITION. THE INTERIOR IS IN GOOD CONDITION NEEDING VERY LITTLE. THE EXTERIOR IS IN NEED OF RESTORATION. THERE IS RUST ON BUT ROCKERS THAT IS VISIBLE. THE PASSENGER FLOOR PAN SHOWS RUST ALSO. THE BODY LOOKS VERY STRAIGHT AND THE CHROME IS IN GOOD CONDITION AS IS THE GLASS. MOST OF THE POWER ACCESSORIES WORK WITH SOME INOP. OLDER SET OF TIRES THAT ARE MOUNTED ON THE ORIGINAL FACTORY WHEELS WITH ORIGINAL CAPS. HAS A GOOD BLACK VINYL TOP. IT DOES RUN BUT THE MECHANICS WILL NEED TO BE ADDRESSED BEFORE BEING ROAD WORTHY. GREAT CAR TO RESTORE. FROM 1975 TO 1978 THE PILLARLESS TWO DOOR PRODUCTION RUN WAS JUST 9378 AND WAS REFERRED TO AS THE XJ-C. THE TWO DOOR COUPE IS VERY RARE TO FIND AND IS VERY COLLECTIBLE. THIS ONE HAS GREAT BONES TO START WITH AND WOULD MAKE AN EXCELLENT CANDIDATE TO START WITH.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
