This 1976 Daimler Sovereign 4.2 Auto comes direct from long term ownership, and having undergone a major restoration some years ago to a very high standard. It was supplied new at Dutton Forshaw Preston, and is a complete matching number car, with Heritage Certificate. The restoration comprised of a full bare metal strip dow,n new panels replaced as required, all the suspension and brake system removed, stripped, sand blasted, and powder coated, then rebuilt with new bushes, shock absorbers and springs. The brake system had a new Master Cylinder, rebuilt servo and callipers, and a new stainless steel full exhaust system was fitted. There is photographic evidence in the large history file together with invoices. The car is now being prepared for sale and will be fitted with a new set of period Kent Alloy wheels with centre caps and nuts.
