This car has been painstakingly restored by its enthusiastic and experienced owner to an outstanding concours standard. It has won over 18 national concours competitions, including one at the N.E.C. Classic Show in Birmingham, and also various Jaguar Drivers Club and Jaguar Enthusiast Club events nationally, between 1999 and 2011.
The car has had just 2 fastidious owners from new and covered 41,000 miles with a full service history, as proved by old M.O.T's and a photographic record in the history file. This history file shows that the repaint alone cost £7,500 in 1990 (!) and the interior was ' reconnolised' by renowned trimmer Mick Turley. Surely then this is one of the very best XJ Coupes in the world and deserving of a place in any distinguished collection.
