The Warwickshire Collection - This car has formed part of an extensive collection of British and European Classics
In recent years, this car has formed part of a large collection and has received little or no use, so an element of recommissioning is to be expected. Some of these cars do start, run and drive. Each car has a condition report, however they are all sold as seen
The new Series I XJ6-based Sovereign was introduced in October 1969 and was externally virtually identical to its Jaguar sibling with the exception of the fluted grille and Daimler badging
This lovely example was supplied new on the 04/08/1971 to a Mr Tjiong by Henlys of London
It presents particularly well in Regency Red with an unmarked black leather interior
The odometer indicates just 28,259 miles which is believed to be genuine
The history file contains some old MOTs, a number of maintenance invoices from Henlys, the original Order Acceptance from the dealership and the original Bill of Sale for £3,366.59
This good looking, low-mileage, rare Series 1 is very sensibly guided at just £10,000 - £12,000 and may well turn out to be an excellent investment
