I have had this car since 1978 and restored it some years ago. It has been "garaged" for several years and not run. I am in the process of re-commissioning the car and would like to know its manufacture date etc. It is registered as a 1972 model and I know it is earlier as it has chrome bezel instruments, reflectors in the reversing lights, one piece rear bumper, and no "Jaguar" name on the boot - only the 4.2 Litre badge.
