    Ebay item 9/1/14
    www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XJ6-Original-1972-Jaguar-XJ6-4-2-Series-1-SWB-low-milage ...
Current bid US $4,200, no reserve, 45 bids 3 days left in auction. 45k miles.

    Sellers description:
Straight from a local garage sale, one incredibly solid and original 1972 XJ6 series one SWB with low miles and NO RUST. These early XJ6's are now finally getting collectors interested and this one particular deserves too as its untouched. So bid now there's NO RESERVE!

    Here's the highlights;
Superb sounding original engine, that is sweet with no oil leaks, smoking or strange noises
Laser straight panels and body fit
The car shows 24,099 miles, ( but the speedo broke, so I would guess the true miles are around 45,000)
    2 owners from new
Lovely smell of old leather and wood has you open the door
The doors shut with the solid Jaguar "Clunk"
    Good wood trim
    Newish Muffler system
    Original western state car
    Good Suspension
    Good Dash pad
    Good original headliner
    Good Brakes
    Smooth Transmission
    Good Carpet
    Good door cards
    Superb rear end
    Superb Floors
    Superb Trunk floor
    Superb Cowl
    Superb Rockers
    Superb RUST FREE body
    No door sag
Good original paint??? (NO Bondo NO RUST NO Bubbling)
    Good original "survivor" Interior
    Superb chrome
New tires with nice chrome wheels
Everything works correctly (except Clock, one fuel pump and A/C that blows warm, but cuts in on compressor when used so will need recharge/converting to R134)
    Superb glass
    Clear title in hand
Overall a survivor, that's never had rust or a accident, that drives good !

Current bid US $2,025, no reserve, 2 bids 6 days left in auction. Seller haboochihuckaby, 24k miles, car now said to be in Elmhurst, Illinois.

    Sellers description:
This is one of the most original well-maintained low milaged Jaguauar XJ6 Series one cars I've found. I'm only selling it because I'm moving and I can't afford the city storage fees in downtown Chicago. I have six vintage Jaguars. I adore originality and this one is just original. Not a show car but it's all English made components and the aroma and details with regard to to wood, Wilton velour carpets are all ther. Body is laser straight. the undercarriage is guaranteed SOLID . Only minor surface rust underside and in the trunk there is minor rust in the pan that any professional could address for a song. I know these cars and finding this one at low mileage and not a rust bucket is rare. There is virtually no rust to speak of. Car was repainted original silver and paint is presentable and looks sharp all waxed up. Chrome is OUTSTANDING? Body panels are tight with no sag and all the options save for air conditioning function properly. Compressor turn but is not charged. Does notbleaknoit or run hot. Issues I'd address are shock bushings and maybe new poly bushing but handles well regardles. The SWB zips around corners and is a pleasure to drive. The car has a couple issues: the is minor rust in the trunk floor plan. Easy fix. The left drivers side fule pump needs rebuilt or replace ($150) also I'd clean it out the right fuel take and replace the filter and hose. I spent $1599 on me brake lines and calipers were greased services and new pads. I have receipts. Oil pressure is at 40 psi at tickover and car tracks perfectly. It needs shock bushing and maybe a few other rubber parts in the radius arms and from suspension but that's it. Car runs cool and no coolant leaks. Brakes were flushed so totally new fluids, new oil change 29/50 Castrol only. This is a really nice XJ Series 1 that with minor TLC you could drive daily.

    www.ebay.com/itm/1972-Jaguar-XJ-Runs-Perfectly/254461011277

Current bid $2,716 no reserve 21 bids 6 days left in auction, seller timwhomi5, 24k miles, car now said to be in Phoenix, Arizona.

    Seller's description:

I am selling my beloved XJ6. The car is totally original and rust free, it has been properly maintained it's entire life. The car is an original survivor, in far better than driver condition. Knowing I was going to sell the car I have been driving it everyday for the past month, it's wonderful to drive. It truly takes you back in time! This car has been pampered all of it's life and has recently had a $2000 stainless steel exhaust system fitted that was purchased in England. It has an Arizona title with 24245 original miles showing. (A Box title).

The car should be purchased by a true Jaguar enthusiast who will continue to cherish this piece of automotive history.

Obviously, it would be ideal if bidders were to come to Arizona and inspect the car, however as this is not always possible, be assured that I have a 100% positive feedback rating and you can bid with confidence. I am starting the bidding very low so everyone has a chance to win the car, there is NO RESERVE!!!
