Hard to put into words the pleasure one gains from driving and gazing onto this beautiful XJ6.I have bought and sold high end and collectible European cars for 35 years, these old chrome bumper XJ6 cars are in a class all their own. Cosmetically they are absolutely beautiful, to drive one is a challenge not to put the car into a class or box. One does not know if one is driving a luxury sedan, a sport sedan, a heavy sedan, or a nimble sedan, it is all of those. At one moment I am enjoying the smooth drive and the next I am marveling at how quick and nimble the car is. This car is a pleasure to drive for any veteran driving enthusiast. This example is a one owner car that has had nothing but the best care. The car has no rust or rust history, rock solid at every level. The body panels are straight, body gaps factory perfect! The leather seats have been redone, the wood, dash cap, headliner, carpets, door panels are all original and in excellent condition. The engine is strong leaving no oil drips on my garage floor, no smoke on start up and drive. The suspension is tight, the big Michelin tires smooth. All the gauges and electronics work (gas gauge is acting up), even the original AM radio works well with good speakers. The paint and chrome is near perfect. This is truly a unique find, if you are looking for something different.
