This car is in mint condition having been totally restored. New engine ($6500 rebuild in 2007), new paint, new interior and new red leather (the new leather itself is worth the asking price of the car!!).
This is one of the very first XJ6s sold in New Zealand, It has the dark walnut dash with chrome trim on all instruments which is very rare. The car is immaculate with absolutely NO rust and while suitable for a collector it can be driven as a reliable everyday car.
The sound system has been significantly upgraded with a 8 speaker plus sub base with USB and iphone/pod connection. There is also an integrated bluetooth phone system linked through the sound system (which means the sound switches to the phone when a call comes in). This is a brilliant car, runs like a dream, is a joy to drive and I'm only selling it to make way for a 1957 XK150 I'm restoring.
